Hummingbirds

Coming Soon: Hummingbirds

Hummingbirds thrive when the temperatures are warm.

When you put out your hummingbird feeders, please note that the feeder itself should have red accents, but the nectar should be clear.

Provide your hummingbirds with sugar water (recipe below) and never add red food coloring, as that is unhealthy for the birds. Change the nectar frequently so it remains fresh and clear.

Put out your feeders earlier that the map above indicates, and the hummingbirds will be more likely to find you. The more feeders you have around your property, the more birds you’ll attract.

They come in all styles and sizes, so you have plenty of options to suit your needs.

Hummingbirds remember where they last found food, so if you put your feeders out consistently each spring, the birds will return to the source year after year. Click here for more information on hummingbirds and how to make a home for them in your yard.
